Manifesto

The Manifesto pledges to build digital knowledge within the business coaching and mentoring environment. A major concern to Penny is the lack of knowledge that exists throughout the business support networks with regard to leveraging social media and digital tools when starting and growing a business.

At a time when the UK economy is facing tough challenges our business leaders, business owners and those in Government need to do more to embrace the opportunities created by the digital revolution. Developing an understanding of the value of digital technology, digital networks and the tools they offer to business, will enable the UK economy to begin to thrive again.

The Digital Business Britain Manifesto calls for the digital skills gap to be closed, encouraging UK businesses to develop a Digital Mindset, which will, in turn, enable them to leverage business growth opportunities.

“In the Internet age, we need to ensure that people aren’t being left behind as more and more services and business move online. But this issue isn’t just about fairness, promoting digital inclusion is essential for a dynamic modern economy and can help to make Government more efficient and effective.”
David Cameron, Prime Minister.
