I have been a professional speaker for 20 years. The majority of my talks fall into the category of ‘Motivational Speaking’.

Speaking is my favourite work. It is such a privilege and such a rewarding experience to have an impact on so many people. I am very open and honest, no preaching, no selling. My aim in every speach is to inspire and move people into action.

I speak on a wide range of topics, key themes being entrepreneurship, mindset for success and resilience, emotional management, creating trust, the strength in vulnerability in leadership, building the culture of kindness, building personal trusted brands, social media and community.

Currently, my most popular talk is “Business is Personal” which is about the journey I have had and the lessons I learned about emotional and mental strength and vulnerabilities which focuses on Business Performance, the skills needed and how to build your reslience through increased self awareness.

I like to ‘tell it as it is’. I am very keen for us all to know what ‘normal’ is and to ensure the audience are motivated  but not intimidated by what is percieved success. I believe it is time that we all learn the reality of business instead of a the glossy, unatainable fantasy.  I believe my audience leaves feeling ‘they can do it’. I am a real person with a real story and a real journey.

My Speaking and Chairing style is relaxed and human. I am always determined to ensure the audience know that the speech I deliver is unique to them and I use my empathy and sensitivity to feel the atmosphere and the energy of the people in the room.

I speak and Chair on many area of business and my ‘briefs’ are usually around building confidence in business, sharing my entreprenerial journey, resilience and how to build credibility online. My 30 years of business experience is quite unique and includes trail blazing ideas and manageing obstacles.

I like to make the audience feel part of the community for the day,  laughter provides a good vibe and I also shock, in a good way, with some of my statements and experiences. Ultimately, I want to shift people in their thinking as modern life requires a very postive mental and emotional attitude and also that you lead your life the way you want to.

Workshops

For 15 years I have delivered workshops on building your personal brand online, finding your voice and being Known, Liked and Followed, the title of my book from 2010 and still highly relevant.

Additionally, I now run workshops on how the manage your emotional and mental journey of business. Working with the skills of psychologists and top Business Coaches, I act as a torch bearer sharing the way to manage and be in control of your own business needs and life.My own workshops will be launched in 2019 and will cover the 12 chapters of my book as a step-by-step way to personal success and happiness in business.
