Loneliness in business

I have suffered loneliness in business, although I didn’t realise that was the issue I had.

It manifested though a reducing lack of self worth, seeing less value in myself to others. I lacked the stimulation and validation of others and my mojo was low.

I had family, friends and I was really connected to many on social media. Business loneliness is different.

I was lacking a small group of people that I could really be myself with, warts and all. A place I could reinvent myself after adversity, a place where I could help others and enjoy the feeling of doing that. A place where my value to others was understood.

This is why Thomas Power and I are once again building a small intimate group of people and you can too.

If you need support, seek out a community where you can trust others and know they are committed to you and you to them. Small groups come at a price. Paying for something qualifies people’s commitment to each other. It ensures people want the group to thrive and everyone rises together, don’t fear investing in yourself, don’t see the world with time or financial scarcity.

This pandemic started impacting our brains, then our hearts and now our souls are suffering, don’t be alone, be in a trusted small group and be yourself, warts and all.
