We spend so much time trying to secure things, our identity, our routines, our future. We tell ourselves: “Once I’ve done this, then I’ll feel calm.” But calm doesn’t live in the next achievement. Calm lives in the moment we stop gripping so tightly.
Some describe it as an economic cycle. Some describe it as a planetary shift. Some just say, "It feels like something is changing." And after everything we've lived through - financial crashes, a pandemic, wars, loneliness, burnout, digital overload - I feel that question in my bones and heart.
By sharing my mindset as I started this January, I thought it might encourage you to think about your mindset and how it has developed this year.
You could call it ‘gratitude’, I always hear this voice inside me, so many times a day say "this is a special moment".
If we all, as business people, don't get more emotionally engaged with our clients and staff now, we are stepping into a perfect storm.
